Constellation of Life
There is a place far away
...and the dark of the night
I gaze at the sun's corona
Reminiscent of your own Luna
Your bodily existence faded
I am a watcher of the stars
I know you will be waiting
If ever I go astray
Life on earth
When it is time for my nightfall
Devilish games How your presence affects me
Scared of my own feelings
I am standing at this fatal edge
I fall for all I have lost and forsaken
I may hit the absolute rock-bottom
I am seduced by this lethal attraction
It is too late, there is no turning back |
The Great Blue Freedom,
The dark and eternal ocean
Deep down the Great blue
This is my own Atlantis
There is so much to show you
This is my sanctuary
And now you wish to go back A Travel Within
I am a traveller
Looking out a window
I remember the past
When life was a struggle
I prefered to ignore
Have I ever reached out my hand
When I am long time gone
Yes, when life reaches the end
I have seen many a wanderer
Provinces disappear in the distance
I have been a traveller |

Thank you, truly. En Garde gives me courage The Great Blue I can barely wait to show a friend who longs so for the beach and ocean while she is here on flat dry land for school. A Travel Within reminds me of my personal faith and the convictions I am raising to maturity. And what laid me most bare was Devilish Games, these are my chains, I too am enslaved to what should be forsaken. Today has been a phenominal day I am so thankful that your words came my way today. Thank you, Truly. CStevens - Monday, March 31, 2003 at 19:17:01 (EST) You have the most equisite way with words, you bring people into your heart, by the way you write. Please keep on giving the world your words. Best wishes from Wales-UK Rob Lewis <poetryindreams@yahoo.co.uk> - Wednesday, January 01, 2003 at 14:51:43 (EST) Hello dear Edgar, Cecile and TMW! Thank you for reading my poems and for leaving me all these very kind and lovely comments. I sent 12 of my best poems to this site although I think I have written some even better poems by now *smile* I will add them shortly. Thank you once again for your kindness :) And to Lou, a great thank you for inviting me to this wonderful place. I am very happy you believed in me! That means the world to me :) Sincerely, Eve Eve <evalenanylen@hotmail.com> - Sunday, April 14, 2002 at 09:08:54 (EDT) I have only, at this time, had the opportunity to read Little Boy. Though I will come back to read the rest, I felt that I must respond now to this moving and well-crafted poem. I am both saddened and lifted up by it. The Magnificient Wordphoole <phoole41@yahoo.com> - Saturday, April 13, 2002 at 22:32:08 (EDT) As I read all these wonderful comments, I confess that I felt a personal pride. It proved that I know a great poet when I read one! I am SO proud of you ...Lady Eveline! Thank you for coming to KK to share your beautiful poetry with us! LouHarper <luharper@brightok.net> - Friday, April 12, 2002 at 17:55:45 (EDT) Thank you for your poems. I especially like Constellation of Life, Devilish Games and The Great Blue - the lines 'A seclusion in eternal bliss' and 'a no man's land in aquamarine' giving that deep underwater silence and blue peace feeling. Cecile <cecilehare@go.com> - Tuesday, April 09, 2002 at 05:33:00 (EDT) Simply lovely material, Eva-Lena, and I, too, am a fan of rhyming poetry. You should feel proud to have mastered this medium so well. Thank you! Edgar Rutger - Sunday, April 07, 2002 at 10:54:38 (EDT) Why thank you, dear Judy, for such an uplifting comment. It means so much to me to hear what people think and you truly give me inspiration to write even more. Thank you! Thank you, dear Sue, for reading my poems. "Constellation of life" is one of my latest poems and took me some research to create because of all the astronomical terms. As you can see I am very fond of metaphors, I think I have not written one single poem without it. I am glad you enjoyed this one especially much :) Thank you, dear Molly, for your lovely response to my work. Yes, I always write with rhymes and metaphors, that is kind of my niche :) And to tell you the truth, it is even hard for me to pick a favorite of my poems cause each one of them are written by a certain reason. They all have a special place in my heart :) Ps. Also a great thank you for visiting my site and for leaving a very beautiful comment in my guestbook! Sincerely, Eve Eve <evalenanylen@hotmail.com> - Sunday, April 07, 2002 at 06:48:44 (EDT) Your poetry is breathtaking. It is so difficult to find truly good poetry and yours is even better than that! Judy Dixon <jdixon03@tampabay.rr.com> - Wednesday, April 03, 2002 at 12:43:30 (EST) I enjoyed reading your work - my favorite would be 'Constellation of Life'. Sue Turner <SusanT1466@aol.com> - Tuesday, April 02, 2002 at 15:30:47 (EST) I absolutely LOVE your poetry! I am a fan of rhyming poetry, and yours is exquisite. Beautiful and inspiring...it would be hard to pick just one or two favorites. Thank, you, Eva-Lena! Molly <grimmysmolly@aol.com> - Tuesday, April 02, 2002 at 11:01:19 (EST) |
