It's not easy coming up with a new, fresh, entertaining, informative magazine every month, but it has its rewards. One great reward is being read by folks (over 3,000 folks in March), especially by folks who'll sign our guestbook and leave comments for our authors.

      Why leave comments?

You see, this is a free, non-commercial ezine, and our terrific authors and poets are not paid for the great work they produce. They do it for exposure, satisfaction, love of the medium -- a myriad of reasons. They also do it for the feedback they can obtain from you readers. A cheery "Well done" or "This reminds me of..." can make a writer's day.

Your comments and feedback are their reward. So if you need to go back and add some comments for the authors, click here.

Thank you for visiting Kudzu Monthly. We hope you've enjoyed your time here and that you'll come back to visit with us again next month.

We'll try our best to bring you quality reading every month, and you'll not want to miss a bit of it, will you?

Why not subscribe to our monthly mailing list? We won't pester you, and we won't sell your name to spammers, but what we WILL do is drop you a line every month when the magazine's updated. Just fill out the form below, and you'll be on our mailing list. (We'll send you one email to let you know that we've received your subscription).

Again, thanks for coming. We hope to see you back soon!

About the photo? It's also not easy coming up with an interesting, original photo for "Last Word" every month, but usually something just presents itself and I reach for the camera. This collection of colorful china was lined up against a fence behind a local motel owner's house. I ambled by, saw them, and thought, hey, that reminds me of something! It wasn't until I got back and examined the picture that it came to me: it sort of suggests a bunch of bullfrogs sunning themselves!  (Photo © 2002 Lamar Stonecypher)
